Terms of Service

Last Updated: February 15, 2026

1. Services & Scheduling

We aim to provide a reliable, unparalleled lawn care experience.

  • Mowing Schedule: We maintain a consistent schedule throughout the season. However, weather (specifically rain) may require us to move your service to a "make-up day" later in the week.
  • Communication: There is no long-term contract required for our standard maintenance. We simply ask for 24-hour notice for any service changes or cancellations.
  • Special Events: If you are hosting a party or event, please let us know in advance so we can coordinate our visit to ensure your lawn looks its best.

2. Property Access & Preparation

To provide the best service, we need full access to the work area:

  • Locked Gates: Please ensure all gates are unlocked on your scheduled day. If a backyard is inaccessible, we cannot offer a discount for incomplete service.
  • Obstructions: Please clear the lawn of toys, pet waste, or large debris prior to our arrival.

3. Property Damage & Liability

We take great care while working on your property, but we need your help to avoid accidents:

  • Marking Hazards: Before we begin work, the customer must clearly mark all sprinkler heads, underground dog fence wiring, and landscape lighting. The Mulch Guys cannot be held responsible for damage to items that were not clearly marked or were hidden by tall grass.
  • Delivery Disclaimer: For mulch or bulk deliveries, our drivers will attempt to place the product in your preferred location. However, we are not responsible for damage to driveways, sidewalks, or turf if the delivery requires us to move off a public roadway.

4. Payments & Billing

  • Standard Billing: We offer monthly billing for summer services or per-time billing at the end of each month.
  • Large Projects: Any large-scale project requires a 50% deposit prior to scheduling, with the remaining balance due upon completion.
  • Outstanding Balances: We reserve the right to send accounts with significant outstanding balances to a collection agency.

5. Product Variation

Because mulch and soil are natural products, variations in color, texture, and moisture content are normal. All bulk sales are final once the product has been discharged from the truck.
